Placement Policies

Travel League (BAYS)

Fall sign ups are due July 1. We submit teams to BAYS by July 1 for BAYS placements.

Spring sign-ups are due December 10. We submit teams to BAYS by December 23 for BAYS placements.

There are no guarantees of placement on teams for late registrations.

There will be a maximum of 20 Players on a Div 3 or 4 roster (U14 and up).

There will be a maximum of 18 on an MTOC eligible Spring team (U14 and up).

There will be a maximum of 15 on a U11 or U12 team (8v8).

There will be a maximum of 13 on a U9 or U10 team (6v6).

Special requests for placements will be taken to the Board for a vote and must be submitted by July 1 for Fall and December 1 for Spring.

Players are placed according to BAYS guidelines and at a grade appropriate level.

All requests (Players or Coaches) are attempted to be satisfied as best as possible with balancing of team numbers a priority.

All players U11 and up will be evaluated (external) in May/June for the following Fall & Spring seasons.

If players are not evaluated, they may be placed on any team.

Players will be “leveled” according to evaluations and coaches' inputs.

Sign-ups are due August 15 in the Fall and March 15 in the Spring.

Players will be placed by grade (K; 1st; 2nd and 3rd grades) first.

Requests will be honored if possible and if grade appropriate.

There are no guarantees after the deadline due to equipment limitations.

Fall YDL starts on the 3rd Sunday following Labor Day.

Spring YDL starts the 4th Sunday in April.
