On-line Registration for Fall 2008 Travel (BAYS) and Youth Development League (YDL) Seasons NOW OPEN

Milton Travel Soccer is going to ON-LINE registration with the Fall 2008 seasons! Easy to do! Pay by credit card or check. Please see Registration for guidelines and the link to the registration site.

The registration deadline for the Fall 2008 Travel season is July 1, 2008.

The registration deadline for the Fall 2008 Youth Development season is August 15, 2008.

Player Evaluations for the F2008/S2009 Travel (BAYS) Seasons Scheduled Sunday, June 1 and 8 at Houghton's Pond

For all Boys and Girls who will be playing U11 through U14 (entering grades 5 - 8 in September) Travel soccer in the Fall 2008 or Spring 2009 seasons.

Sunday, June 1, 4:00-6:00 pm. Registration at 3:30.
Sunday, June 8, 4:00-6:00 pm.

Both sessions at Houghton's Pond.

All players are expected to play both Sundays for a more accurate evaluation of each player. If you can only make one, one is better than none. Paul Turner's coaches will attempting to evaluate technical, tactical, athletic, and personality aspects of each player for next year's U-11 to U-14 age groups. Remember to bring a water bottle and soccer ball!

This is an evaluation, not a try-out. Everyone who registers on time will be placed on a team in the Fall. Milton Travel Soccer uses player evaluations in an attempt to place all players on an appropriate team for a positive soccer experience. Please also see Milton Travel Soccer's Placement Policies.

Milton Travel Soccer Information Nights at Cunningham Hall on June 4th and 17th

Milton Travel Soccer is hosting information nights at Cunningham Hall the evenings of Wednesday June 4th and Tuesday June 17th from 8 to 9pm. Come learn about:
- the new on-line registration process;
- the youth development program (grades k thru 3);
- the travel program (grades 3 thru 8);
- player and coach development philosophies;
- board volunteer opportunities;
- and more.

Spring 2008 Travel (BAYS) Season Started Saturday, April 12th for all U9 to U14 Teams (Grades 3-8)

The spring U9 to U14 travel season runs for 10 consecutive Saturdays April 12 through June 14.

Outdoor skills clinics for all Travel players grades 3 through 8 scheduled Sundays, April 27th (4:00 to 6:00pm) at Houghton's Pond. Please see Clinics for details. Skills clinics are provided at no cost for all currently registered Travel players. Staffed and run by Paul Turner's Ultimate Soccer Academy.

Player evaluations for all U11 through U14 players who plan to play the Fall 2008 Travel season are scheduled Sundays June 3 and 10 from 4:00 to 6:00pm at Houghton's Pond. Registration starts promptly at 3:30pm.

Remember to bring a water bottle and soccer ball!

Spring 2008 Youth Development (YDL) Season Started Sunday, April 27th (Grades K-3)

The spring YDL season runs for 8 consecutive Sundays April 27 through June 15 at Houghton's Pond.

Age Group Times

Second/Third Grades	11:30am	-	1:00pm
Kindergarten*	1:00pm	-	2:30pm	or
	2:30pm	-	4:00pm
First Grade	2:30pm	-	4:00pm

* Two Kindergarten teams will play each week at 2:30pm.

Each Sunday session begins with 45 minutes of practice followed by a game (2 twenty minute halves). All children should have shin guards and water. Cleats are not required. Please remember that parking, especially for the afternoon sessions, can be challenging.

Parent Coaches: If you volunteered to coach, you have been assigned to a team. The YDL coaches meeting is Friday, April 18 from 6:30 to 8:30pm at the Milton Academy Girl's Gym (off Randolph Ave). You should be receiving e-mail communications with further details.

The YDL registration deadline for spring 2008 was March 15, 2008.

The spring U16, U18 and U19 travel season runs for 7 consecutive Sundays April 27 through June 8.
